How it Works
FirstCall ‘Home Safe’ is a Medi-Alert alarm that summons help in the event of an emergency, by sending calls to either family and friends or a 24/7 monitoring service.
The system consists of a lightweight waterproof pendant or watch, and a base station connected to your telephone line or NBN modem.
The pendant or watch can be worn in the bath or shower and have sufficient range for the average sized home and garden.
When you press the FirstCall pendant or watch the alarm unit will sound for 10 seconds. It will then automatically call your emergency contacts in order to summon help.
This is a tried and proven Medical Alarm that operates over the NBN or a standard telephone line. It can be used anywhere there is a home telephone service. The main advantages are: simplicity; ease of use; low cost; no battery recharging required; and there is no mobile phone SIM account that needs to be regularly topped-up with credit.
